Value for the money was great.
Air conditioner rattled a bit at night.
What I didn't like was the smell of smoke when you entered hotel off the parking lot (not main entrance). I think the smell remains in the carpets from times when smoking was permitted. Also, door from parking lot was never locked even though it had card access. Anyone off the street could have wandered around the hotel. We came in after midnight and it was open.
Hotel very busy on July 1 weekend, Was given a room away from the main area which was very quiet.
Chose the hotel for the gas card offer. ($10.00 gas card when you check in). Was not given a card and was told that I did not qualify as I had used Booked.net and got a rate of $99.00 instead of $109.00 which qualifies for card card. Since the offer states that all you have to do is check in to qualify, I feel this is a "bait & switch" tactic which is very offensive.
Good size room, comfortable beds, spaceous bath, considering it only has a 2-star rating
Staff was very friendly.
One of the 2 beds was a little worn .
Room was large. room access was great.
a/c did not work well not enough lighting, shower not strong enough
We booked a king room but when we arrived at 5pm. No king rooms were clean yet. Then after waiting 15 minutes. We were told that the king rooms were over booked (5 rooms altogether). We had to downsize to a queen room with no discount in price (hotel doesn't have any larger rooms then king they said). You think it would be first come first serve, yet we were the first & couldn't get our room that we booked. Contenential breakfast was not good either. This wasn't worth our money. I don't believe we'd stay there again.
A comfortable room at a reasonable price. The continental breakfast was very good.
A little further from my event than I thought it would be but that was my fault.
Everything was good. Staff excellent. Willing to take the time to answer any questions you had. Hotel is good value for your money. And the location is also good. Enjoy your stay there.
The rooms were clean. The breakfast was plentiful. The service was awesome. My daughter left her cell phone charger in the room and when we called back, they found it and purolated it to her address. Thanks Travelodge, we always stay with you wherever we go.
Absolutely nothing to complain about.
continental breakfast, discount for east side marios
water saver shower head ...shouldn't have to run around in the shower to get wet!
The staff, in particular Leanne and Michael, were very friendly and helpful. We were there to take a tour of Nipissing University with our daughter. Leanne and Michael gave us a nice map of the town and outlined specific areas we needed to know about. The room was lovely, the breakfast was great and handy as we had to be at the University early in the morning. We thoroughly enoyed our stay and would most definitely return for a visit. The only thing that could have been better was the air conditioning unit - was a little loud, and kept knocking, but besides that, everythinbg was fine.
Loved the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was incredible and the room was comfortable. Loved it. Thanks for wonderful stay.
Very friendly, conscientious and courteous staff. Good continetal breakfast.
I've been going to Travelodge for the last 20 years or so. Not much has been upgraded except for the beds. It would/should need upgrading the other facilities, e.g. rooms, furniture. Competition has done so, including the motel next door where the prices are competitive. Travelodge should consider renovating if it wants to be able to retain its long-standing clientele.
We had a family with two very noisy kids that screamed from 6 am on.Room was not very sound proof.
